First Try @ Mixed Media

Trying my hands on traditional (first few). Its totally different from doing digital. Mistakes are just part of the piece, i learn how to appreciate them, the rawness, uncertainty and looking around my table for solutions. Pencils, pen, sharpie, spray cans, watercolors and whiteout were used. Can't wait to start on the next one.

Series03. Photoshop arnd 2-3hrs with water breaks. I tried using bigger brushes and less opacity blending. Using suggestions rather than rendering for forms. Ref from BAPE magazine. Ok time to sleep :P

Series02. Spent more time on this one. Looks too realistic compared to the previous one. Ref from SO-EN(jpn). It loses the playfulness to 01 but feels more editorial. Ok time to sleep, dun wanna be late for work. : P Added cast shadow from cap.

Took me slightly more than an hour. Ref included. I kinda like how this one turned out. Been some time since I painted any girls. Hopefully a series will follow.
