Electric Tiger Land GEEKSIGNERS X HYPETHETIC

Onitsuka Tiger, Japan’s legendary sports brand, has a great athletic heritage. Famous for its high quality, innovative products for athletes throughout history, Onitsuka Tiger shoes and apparel are made by adapting traditional methods and designs with the contemporary.

Introduced in 1966, the Mexico 66 were the first Onitsuka Tiger shoes to bear the brand’s now-famous stripes. They were worn at the 1968 Mexico Olympics.

Conceived in 2006 by Asia’s leading beer, Tiger Translate has been working with pioneers in the creative industry to uncover over 150 multi-disciplinary creatives from across Asia and form a collective known as Tiger AKAs (Asian Kinetic Artists).

To showcase talents of Tiger AKAs, Tiger Translate has hosted events and exhibitions in cities like New York, Berlin, Sydney, Shanghai and Beijing. Boosting Tiger AKAs’ profile further are a series of East-meets-West collaborations with established international artists like Faile (US), Rostarr (US), Surface To Air (US), Jeremyville (Australia), Ben Frost (Australia), Nomad (Germany), Stefan Marx (Germany) and Jon Burgerman (UK)

Tiger Translate London: Monorex

The highlight of the night was the Secret Wars by Monorex. I got invited by Terry the night before and I be pairing up with Gonzo. We had 90mins to battle with the other team. Live music, live art and beer, its was bloody fun. At the end of 90mins, the crowd and 2 judges we determine which side will emerge the winner. And yeap, my side won! Thks for those who cheered! All in all, it was great fun. The funny thing was that I came to London with my White Luke Purcell and right now it's all thrashed and covered with paints. (Nevermind...) Cheers~

Tiger Translate London: Cordy House

Some shots taken near Cordy House. Thats the place we did the collabs with the UK artist. Eine's and Obey's art were all over the place. The last piece was actually framed to preserve it.

Tiger Translate London MRB x Hicalorie(UK)

Thats Alex (Hicalorie) working on the sketch. He does really quirky and cute characters. Had a great time hangin with him. Nice chap : )

The idea was to join the two canvas together. Each of us taking one side. I was kinda an adhoc collab, we just liked each other works and had to do a collab. : ) Thats my sketch of my signature girls.

Almost done...

And finally, the finished piece on the night itself. I'm looking forward to work with Hicalorie again, cheers~

Tiger Translate London Mongolian Express Part2

Mee Wong's pandas are really cute! Had fun trying to converse with her using my half fcked Mandarian.

Tiger Translate London Mongolian Express Part1

Tiger Translate London was a blast. Met some of the biggest names, and had alot of fun and made new frens. There's was a number of collabs which i was involved in, first one mate: the Mongolian Express. Mee Wong from China, Pureevil and myself was involved in this one. This was the place where we did the cab, its along Brick Lane, where all the clubs were @. I think this placed is called London Warehouse or Airhouse, cant remember, but later during the week, Wayne (JUICE), Wanyee (TIGER) and myself went to check out: Digitalism. Wicked~

There's Purevil inspecting the cab. I got all engrossed and forgotten to take some work in progress. Basically, we took 2 days to finish, and it was quite an experience seeing how Pureevil work. He's the real deal, cheers mate.

That's his side of the cab.

My side of the cab. And Pureevil's working the top too.
